My Little Tim

Yesterday we received some pictures in the mail of Grandpa Bob's new grandbaby. (They were supposed to go to my mom but somehow got directed here instead, we'll send them on to you Mom & Bob) My little Tim and I were looking at them together when I pointed out Grandma Helen and said, "Look Tim, who's that?". "Is that Grandma Helen?" "Yes, it sure it." This was followed by him looking at the picture and then looking at the picture we have on the bookcase several times before he turned to me and said "that doesn't look like my Grandma". I had to remind him that it's been 3 1/2 years since he saw her and time changes the way we look. Then he wanted to know if Grandma would recognize him when she saw him. I told him she would but she would be so surprised by how much he's grown. He said it was okay if she didn't look the same because Grandma Helen is the best grandma ever. And then he added, "and she's still pretty". I had to agree with him since I've always been told that I look like her. I believe I have some kids who can't wait to see their Grandma Helen this summer. What a blessing that she is still able to travel!!
